TENNIS CLUB RULES
All members have equal rights to the courts for social play:
- Be considerate of all Members and their desire to enjoy a game of tennis.
- No member (junior, associate or senior) has rights over any other member (junior, associate or senior) to a particular court on any particular day or at any particular time.
- Play is limited to one hour when all courts are in use.
- Courts cannot be booked.
COURT USE AND CAREOur three policlay courts require very little bagging and no watering.
Remember that they are not to be used on Holy days such as Good Friday and Christmas Day, or on Sunday mornings during church services. VISITORSMembers are entitled and encouraged to bring any visitor three times a year to play on the St Andrew's Tennis Courts.
All visitors are to be signed in by a member in the visitors' book in the clubhouse. Envelopes for visitors' payments are available beside the court allocation board, and can be posted in the mailbox below the board. There should not be any visitors playing without the presence of a member. If a visitor wishes to come and play more often than that, they should become a member. The member is responsible for the payment of the visitor's fees:
Membership Rebate Policy Join our club and receive a rebate, up to $30.00 on the first year of membership, for guests who have paid their visitor's fees then acquire full membership within the same year. COURT ALLOCATION BOARDWhenever using the courts, please put your names and your starting time on the Court Allocation Board as you begin. The board is not for booking courts ahead of time.
If on arrival all the courts are in use put your name in the Next On column. If all courts are in use and members are waiting, you must vacate your court after one hour. If you wish to play further put your name in the Next On column for the court that is next due to finish their one hour. |
